RENT AGREEMENT

TJD RENT A CAR hereby leases the vehicle (including any replacement vehicles) to the Renter subject to the Renter's terms and conditions as set forth by the Renter on the first page and which the Renter acknowledges on the basis of the rental agreement.

1. QUALIFICATIONS:

Renters or drivers must be at least 23 years of age for car groups A, B, C and 25 years of age for cars of other groups.

2. DRIVING LICENSE:

Valid driver's license valid for at least one year.

3. MINIMUM RENT:

One day. Each additional hour is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate.

4. TRAFFIC FINES:

The tickets and the attached administrative penalties resulting from any violation of the Hellenic Traffic during the rental shall be borne solely by the renter.

5. DEPOSIT:

Deposits for the estimated rental charge (days-km) are required at initiation or rental and final adjustments are made upon completion of the rental. Minimum €20.00. No deposits are required from holders of credit cards accepted by TJD RENT A CAR.

6. INSURANCE:

Rental prices include the following coverages:

a) Death or bodily injury to third parties up to 1.200.000,00 €
b) Compensation to third parties up to the amount of 1.200.000,00 €
c) The renter's car from fire and theft
d) For damages to the rental car, customers are responsible for groups A – C up to the first 250,00€ and for the other groups up to the first 400,00€

7. DISCLAIMER OF DAMAGE IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION:

The renter's liability referred to in paragraph 6 can be waived with a daily payment of 7,00€ for car categories A, B, C and 10,00€ for the other groups.

8. PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE:

For a single charge of the amount………….. per day, which covers the driver and each passenger with the following amounts respectively.

9. TAXES:

All prices are subject to VAT.

10. FUEL:

Gasoline consumption is paid by the renter. No refunds are given.

11. EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT:

Luggage rack or child seat (on request) with an additional charge of 1,50€ per day.

12. DELIVERY – PICKUP:

In the city and at the airport, at the TJD RENT A CAR rental station, as well as in neighboring areas free of charge during office hours 08:00-22:00. Night deliveries / collections from 20,00€ each.

13. AVAILABILITY:

Car models are available as per the original design. However, delivery problems may require us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases.

14. CASES OF MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE OUTSIDE THE RENTAL LIMITS:

Customers wishing to travel by car outside of Syros must have prior authorization from the rental manager TJD RENT A CAR.

15. CAR NAVIGATION:

Cars cannot be moved without the prior written authorization of TJD RENT A CAR.

16. TERMS OF USE:

The renter is expected to take good care of the vehicle, check its mechanical condition, oil, water, tires, etc.

Any repair of the vehicle by the renter himself or any other party designated by the renter is not allowed without the consent of the lessor.

In particular, the vehicle must not be used for:

a) to transfer persons or property on lease.
b) drive or tow any vehicle, trailer or other object.
c) in a race, test or rally competition.
d) the sublease by the tenant to any third party.
e) the circumstance where the renter or any other authorized driver of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol, hallucinogenic drugs, barbiturates or any other substance that impairs his consciousness or his ability to react.
f) in violation of any customs, traffic or other regulations.
g) by any person other than the renter, unless previously designated and approved by TJD RENT A CAR in the space indicated on the first page of this agreement.
h) to transport heavy luggage or objects, flammable materials, staining or bad smell of goods, drugs, etc.

17. ACCIDENTS:

In the event of an accident or other incident (fire, theft, etc.), the renter is responsible within 24 hours to follow the insurance procedures as defined below:

a) To call the Police.
b) To obtain names and addresses of witnesses.
c) Not to recognize third party claims.
d) To contact TJD RENT A CAR immediately by telephone or by other means.
e) To obtain all relevant information from the third party or parties.
f) To complete and sign an accident report.
g) To send any other document or information regarding the accident

18. JURISDICTION:

All disputes that may arise between the Lessor and the Tenant will be settled before the competent courts of Syros in Greece.

In the event of a dispute between the parties, the Greek courts will have sole jurisdiction.

19. CANCELLATION POLICY:

Free cancellation up to:

– 3 days before for the period September 16 to June 15
– 7 days before for the periods June 16 to July 10 and August 26 to September 15
– 14 days before the period from July 11 to August 25

The amount of the bank's commission is not included in the free cancellation of the reservation.
