download picture
description
Up for sale is a rare pair of vintage Bausch & Lomb (B&L) Ray-Ban sunglasses featuring a gold-tone metal frame with horizontal etched details and dark G-15 glass lenses. These pre-1999, USA-made glasses carry \"WAYFARER\" stamped on the inner temple arm. BL engraved in both lenses.
Key Features & Markings:
Brand: Ray-Ban (Bausch & Lomb Era, Pre-1999)
Model: Metal Wayfarer series
Frame: Gold-tone metal with classic etched accent lines
Markings: Bridge marked \"B&L RAY-BAN USA\"; inner arm stamped \"WAYFARER\"; raised metal \"Ray-Ban\" logo on side temple; vintage \"BL\" laser etching near hinges.
Lenses: Original G-15 dark green/gray glass
Condition & Lens Imperfection Note:
The gold frame is in fantastic vintage condition with minimal sign of wear.
Lens Disclosure: Please note there is a small, subtle imperfection on the right lens (middle-to-lower area). It is not visible on surface inspection and does not show up as a scratch or defect in photos. However, when wearing the glasses and moving your eye, a faint \"cloudy\" spot can be noticed in your line of sight.
Price is adjusted to reflect this specific lens quirk. Sold as-is. Please review all detailed photos prior to purchase.
